A lifetime deal can be the less expensive choice.

TidyCal lists Individual Lifetime at $29 and Agency Lifetime at $79 as one-time purchases. Slotstride is subscription-based. Over a longer period, a suitable lifetime plan can cost less; we would not describe Slotstride as the cheapest choice for every TidyCal customer.

Slotstride Solo costs $5 monthly or $50 annually. Team costs $10 monthly or $100 annually for three hosts. Those prices give you a clear choice between a monthly commitment and a prepaid year. Compare the time period you expect to use the service, then check the features and team licensing that apply to your purchase.

Put your own name on the booking experience.

Slotstride Solo and Team remove Slotstride branding. TidyCal lists reduced branding on its lifetime plans and full removal on Pro, priced at $12 monthly or $99 yearly. Branding alone may make a paid subscription worth comparing.

For an independent professional, the booking page is often the first small interaction after a referral. Slotstride lets you use your logo and accent color, then remove product attribution on a paid plan. It keeps that decision separate from managing a custom domain, which Slotstride does not include.

Budget around the people who take appointments.

Slotstride Team starts with three bookable hosts. Each receives the paid scheduling features inside the workspace, alongside shared templates, a team page, and round-robin assignment. Additional hosts cost $5 per month or $50 per year each. Non-host administrators do not add to the seat bill.

When comparing a team purchase, write down the number of people taking bookings, the people administering them, and any meetings that require several hosts at once. That last case is important: Slotstride assigns an individual host and does not provide collective multi-host appointments. A low base price does not make an unsuitable meeting format work.

When TidyCal is the better match.

TidyCal includes unlimited free booking types and paid bookings. Its paid offerings also cover collective meetings and automatic Zoom links. Those are concrete reasons to keep it on your shortlist.

Slotstride focuses on one-to-one scheduling and small-team assignment with Google and Microsoft calendars. Automatic Zoom meeting links and prepaid US SMS reminders are part of its launch plans. Appointment payments and custom domains remain outside its offering. If one of those is central to your service, evaluate a product that includes it rather than plan around an assumed future feature.

A few more useful answers.

Does Slotstride offer a lifetime deal?

No. Slotstride offers Free, monthly paid plans, and annual paid plans. If lifetime pricing is your main requirement, consider TidyCal’s purchase options and their current terms.

Is Slotstride always less expensive?

No. A lifetime purchase may cost less over time, and the free plans have different limits. Compare the exact features you need, including full branding removal, rather than just the lowest price on either page.

Can I take payments for appointments?

Slotstride does not currently include payment collection for appointments. Its paid plans are subscriptions to the scheduling service itself. If clients need to pay while booking, choose a service with that capability.
